Change iOS and Android Design with one click

In the summer of 2023, Figma introduced its new Variables feature. This allows us to expand design systems, providing app designers with many new useful functions that make our work easier and faster.

This feature is particularly useful for switching between different operating systems with just a few clicks. Previously, when designing an app for both iOS and Android, you had to build two separate apps from scratch. Most designers would start with an iOS version, and once it was finished, they would rebuild the exact same app with Android-specific components. This process was time-consuming and expensive.

With the new Variables feature, we can develop a process that makes it much easier to switch between these different systems.
